Heres part two of the series of drawings known as "A Brotherly Betrayal." It is from Gingerpaw's point of view.//Gingerpaw let out a hiss of pain as she was roughly shoved into a dimly lit clearing. Her brother Foxfang had told her that he needed her help with something, so of course she'd agreed to come. As they'd drawn closer to the border, he'd become more pushy and somehow more distant than usual. Now, as they entered the clearing, he picked her up, and dragged her towards a group of strange cats who were waiting in the shadows. This made the atmosphere all the more sinister as Foxfang dropped her onto the ground. She backed away from the shadowy figures towards her brother, who somehow seemed safer in comparison. But then she caught his gaze, and the coldness of it shocked her. So she found herself backing away from him too. "Foxfang, what's going on?" She asked, her gaze wide with fear. He didn't answer her "I feel like I was cheating in my innitiation." He said, and Gingerpaw struggled to understand what was going on, as she did not know about Eclipsestar's death. "She couldn't fight back, and she was practically dead already. I didn't prove anything." Foxfang continued, "So I brought Gingerpaw. This is a true testimony to my loyalty. Not every cat would have the guts to kill their own sister." He said, and he turned to Gingerpaw. She backed away, her eyes growing wider and wider with horror. She made a small sound of fear, frozen in place. Then she screamed a long and piercing note. She turned and ran as hard as she could, but it was all for naught. Foxfang caught up to her easily before she even reached the edge of the clearing. He slammed one paw down on her neck and pinned her to the ground. Gingerpaw's eyes widened and she let out a strangled gasp. "But why?" She asked, and then she let out one last scream that rang through the forest. And then there was silence, and somehow this was much more unnerving than the scream itself.
