Crimson went quite for a second but after hearing what mistypaw and blitz said he grinned "Right! Lets make sure those crazy rumors don't come true then." he said feeling happy and relaxed again.

Sandrunner padded silently along the border, his jaws open to drink in the scents around him exposing his rather sharp teeth. His rounded paws made no noise on the moor's grass in Sunclan territory. The tall well muscled deputy paused to set a scent marker before continuing on, his head swiveling from side to side every so often. Ears pricked and eyes keen he stopped for a moment for the rest of the patrol to catch up.

The deputy licked one large paw and drew it over one desert sand colored ear with an impatient sigh. Sandrunner could hear the bustling sounds of the city from here and it made him curl his lip in disgust. He felt uneasy and clausterphobic already. How any cat could stand to live in such a noisy smelly place was beyond him. Out of the corner of his eye he could a bright flash of ginger and the smell of Eclipseclan hit his nose. The deputy swung his head, his striking purple eyes zoning in on an Eclipseclan tom stalking a small hare from the Eclipseclan side of the border. He sat out in the open, watching the tom cats poor form, and noted the direction of the hare. If the Eclipseclanner chased it now, the hare would run on to Sunclan territory. And then, he would have to intervine. // The large ginger bengal tom krept slowly through the tall grass, his bright green eyes narrowed in concentration. This would be a big catch if he could manage to get the rabbit under his paws. Kobrapaw tensed, almost ready to pounce. He watched with mild alarm as the dumb rabbit lifted it's head and took off to the right. The large ginger apprentice let out a yowl of frustration and gave chase, gaining on the rabbit quickly, only two more strides and he would be there. "One...T-" Kobrapaw snarled as he felt a hefty impact from his left and was sent sprawling on his side, his shoulder digging in to the earth. He spat in frustration and looked up to see...the Sunclan deputy standing above him with a snarl on his face. // Sandrunner looked at the suprised tom, "You're on Sunclan territory, rabbit brain!" he snarled as the other cat clumsily got to his paws. Suprise flashed through him as he realised this was an apprentice, yet his head came up to his shoulder. From afar he had looked like a warrior. Sandrunner's eyes hardened. It didn't matter that the tom was going to be a massive cat, he had tresspassed and by all rights the hare belonged to them now. "Get to your side of the border. Now." he growled. // Kobrakit's eyes widened in fear at the angry well muscled deputy next to him. Sandrunner looked scary when he was mad. And great Starclan, his first outing and he had tresspassed on another clans territory. The apprentice hastily complied and dashed across the border, panting. He didn't stop running even after he had dissapeared deep in to the terriotry. // Sandrunner snorted, he figured who ever that cat was he was a newly made apprentice. Any other apprentice would have fought for the hare. Though...something tugged at the back of his mind. That cat looked awfully familiar....like another cat he had met before. He would never forget that fire colored pelt..the massive frame..the bright green eyes.. Hmm. He could swear that he looked exactly like Sunstrike of Earthclan, save for his small, fadded looking leopard like spots. Sandrunner shook his head. No. That was impossible. The apprentice was Eclipseclan, and Sunstrike was Earthclan. The deputy shook his head to clear it, ignoring the tugging thought.

Barksong watched the apprentice go, something was off with their deputy, " Something wrong?" She asked, eyes still on where the apprentice disappeared into the city.///// Rosepaw was intrigued by the apprentice, he was huge and around her age. Her amber eyes widened as she knew she'd  have to come into battle with that tom one day. Even if she was large herself, the tom obiviously had the advantage in more muscle. For now on, the apprentice was going to train harder than ever.

Sandrunner's ears swivled back, "Does that cat look familiar to you?" he asked his purple eyes unreadable. "I could swear he looks like Sunstrike." he meowed. "Id never forget him, he's...massive. And very...kind." Sandrunner shook his head.

Sandrunner looked puzzled. He just couldn't understand a cat having a relationship outside of their clan. The clan should always come first. Speaking of...it was patrol time. Sandrunner shook his pelt as if shaking off water. "We should get going, I suppose. Would you two fancy a hunt on our way back?" The deputy asked as he set a scent marker and continued walking a long the boarder.

Rosepaw nodded, waiting to show off her skills. Barksong just gave the deputy a grin that said it all.

Sandrunner set one last scent marker and turned to Barksong and Rosepaw with a sly grin, "You know Barksong, i'll bet I can catch a hare before you do." The tom meowed casually.

Eclipsestar stepped towards the border, the slight wind ruffling her fur. She turned to see if her Warriors had even followed her. She'd heard about what had happened to Nightchourus' patrol, and she was fully prepared to go back to camp and scold some of the cats in the camp.

Mistypaw followed after her leader, her silver eyes searching the vast mood for any signs of life, it looked so barren, how did the Sunclanners stand it? She shrugged, they must be mouse-brained like the rest of the clans were, but then again, they probably thought her clan was mouse-brained too.

Eclipsestar felt a flash of annoyance. "Where are the others?" She asked Mistypaw. 'This is embarrassing. An apprentice is more loyal than my Warriors.' She thought, though she knew of a few cats who'd be eating last for a while. She marked the border, and was about to tell Mistypaw that they were going back to camp, when a scent drifted towards her on the wind. "Mistypaw! We have to..." she was cut off as a huge brown dog with rippling muscles appeared from a hollow in the plains. It spotted them quickly, and let out a volley of barking as it bounded towards the two cats.

Mistypaw shrugged, she really didn't care where the others were, they were just a lazy bunch of liners anyway, she was born in this clan, and she thought that made her more loyal. The hairs lining her spine stood on end as a dog bounded toward them, this was really bad, suddenly she wished that the others were here, how quickly a mind could change under certain circumstances.

Thundersong watched quietly from underneathe a damp bush, completely unsmelled and unseen by the Eclipseclan leader and apprentice. As the dog loped closer, her thick black tail trembled. This could be the perfect opprotuinity The Deliverance needed. Thundersong just needed to wait until the fight began to put it in to action. The pretty black warriors lips curled at the overwelming stench of dog wafted in to her face from her down wind position.

(Is the rest of the Deliverance with her or no?) Mistypaw bunched her muscles her eyes narrowing as the dog was almost upon them before she sprang, her razor sharp claws sibling info the dogs soft muzzle, tearing down and drawing sticky red blood before hopping out of reach of its snapping jaws. She knew that there wasn't much chance of them fighting it off alone, but they could still try, she didn't stay still for long as she darted underneath the dog, aiming to claw its underbelly.

(Not untill Thundersong enters the fight with the dog and sends Misty for back up. When she leaves I think theyll show) A ghost of a smile teased the edges of Thundersong's lips as she watched the apprentice struggle with the dog. The back she cat backed out of the bushes and skirted around the cats line of dight and dropped in to a crouch, prepareing to leap in to the fray. Still completely unnoticed and smelling of wet undergrowth, she took a deep breath to slip herself in to the panicked role she was about to play.

Mistypaw yelped as the dogs teeth gripped her shoulder and yanked her up into the air, a sharp pain running through her like a rabbit running from a fox. Blood was already dropping from the wound as the dog began shaking her like a rag doll, throwing her senses off and making her dizzy and nauseas. She shut her eyes tightly and began to claw blindly at the dog, hoping to meet some flesh and also hoping Eclupsestar would join in soon.

Thundersong leapt to her paws, a blood chilling screech tearing from her throat as she raced over the ground. Urgency, horror and anger played havoc on her face as her paws flew over thr ground. The emotions seemed geniune as if she were really feeling anything but sick thrill at the sight of another weak cat about to meet her fate. Too bad she wouldn't be joining Starclan today. Thundersong thundered over to the savage beast and the wounded apprentice, leaping up to dig her claws in to the dogs face, hooking her claws in its lips to make the canine let go of Mistypaw. Thundersong almost laughed as she felt her claws rip satisfyingly through flesh, relishing in the animals painfilled yelp as it realeased it's grip. None of this showed on her face. Only the convinceing mask of anger and terror showed to her clanmates. "Run Mistypaw!" she screeched as she reared up to aim a well placed blow on the dogs eyes, "Go get back up! Tell Hollowbreeze!" The black she cat pretended to slip and danced back a pace or two as the dog zoned in on her.

Mistypaw hesitated a moment, still a bit dazed from the assault, before she nodded and raced off as fast as she could carry herself, her shoulder swelling. The silver Bengal continued on bravely, her paws thrumming the hard cobdrete and tearing up, soon she left a trail of blood in the shape of her pads as she raced toward camp (EcC camp)/\/\/\ The dog reeled as a new attacker joined the fight, releasing his earlier prey and turning on this new threat, it jaws knasgibg wildly at the black she-cat who had torn it's cheek open.
