Tigerstar arrived, her amber eyes glaring around the clearing and landing on the familiar coat of Littledoe. They narrowed for a moment before she leapt up onto the tree, her tail curling around her paws. The ginger leader greeted Hollowstar with a nod before speaking, " I expect all is well with your clan?" She asked, her voice hollow and without full interest. The leader's mind was on the fact that she had only had a limited amount of time left on the earth. She needed to fix the civil problems in her clan before going into war, but she feared she wouldn't get the time to do so.

Littledoe seemed to shrink under the MoonClan leaders gaze, and her ears flattened against her skull. She kept her gaze away, and down.

SoftSkin looked up at the MoonClan leader. He had lived in MoonClan under StallionStar's rule, not TigerStar's. He didn't know how volatile she would be in comparison to her predecessor. One thing was certain, he was glad he left. The bald medicine cat curled in on himself, watching with round eyes. Why did they all seem so certain there was going to be fighting even though there was a truce they all wanted to uphold? He wished CloudStalker were here, she would keep him safe if it came to fighting. She was maybe the only cat who knew he was declawed, and to be honest he missed her pretty gray fur and glossy eyes.

Fencerunner followed Hollowstar into the clearing and cast friendly glances and smiles at all the cats that looked her way. She deftly stepped between tails and was careful not to tread on paws, until finally she sat at the roots of Hawk's Tree. Spotting the way the moon was already high in the sky, she looked worriedly from Hollowstar to Softskin.

"Is SunClan coming?" she commented loudly enough for all the leadership to hear. Concern etched in her voice and the she-cat looked most worriedly at Risingstar- his personal vendetta against her was aggravating, like a tick in a hard-to-reach space. Even more worrying was the tension between EclipseClan and MoonClan- but Tigerstar seemed civil. Fenceurnner looked to the two leaders, grays on their muzzles, and realized with a start that it would soon be her place on the branches of Hawk's tree.

Frecklemask sauntered into the clearing with EarthClan, the she-cat still looking rather rough. She looked around, wondering if it was a wise idea to approach her clanmates- she wished to repair some of the less fragile relationships. She wanted to get rid of all the tension that had threatened her standing with EclipseClan in the first place, the end goal being to not be in the middle of any drama at all. Risingstar had really gotten to her- his guidance changing her behavior, hopefully for the better.

It was still hard, though, for her to look on her former clanmates- watch their hungry stares and aggravation. It awoke the primal part of her that believed in the hierarchy of EclipseClan, and like a dog thrown to the wolves, she began to blend into their world. She approached Softskin, her plumpening emaciated form playing vision games with the moonlight.

"Looking for someone?" she questioned awkwardly, wondering why the tom seemed so glassy-eyed.

Oakstump entered the clearing powerfully, the large she-cat the outlier in SunClan's quick-paced gene pool. She cast a heavy glance from side to side and took heavy, loping steps before she pried her way closer to Briar's tree, intent to take her rightful place where the senior warriors usually did. She dared anybody to challenge her.

Featherstep followed Tigerstar and sat obediently near the roots of the massive tree, just a few feet away from Brinepelt's place. She looked up at her friend with concern as she approached Hollowstar. Nonono, she thought, don't start something, please- She begged StarClan to stop a fight if one should occur, and the fact that EclipseClan had killed three of MoonClan's warriors was unforgivable. The gray tabby cast a glance at Fencerunner.

You.

Featherstep's gray eyes widened and she tried to catch Tigerstar's attention haphazardly, pointing her tail at Fencerunner. "That's the one that killed them," she silently mouthed.

SoftSkin flicked a wide ear and looked over. He was getting more used to being approached, but he was still uneasy about it. "She's gone I think." SoftSkin looked at his paws a bit sadly, but didn't want the conversation to be about him. "How are you?"

"Should be..." Risingstar replied to Fencerunner's vocalization, his voice a low grunt and his eyes struggling to focus on the two she-cat leaders before him. Tigerstar hadn't greeted him, but neither had she fixed him with the cold and hollow glare she regarded Hollowstar with. Perhaps she had yet to learn of his little misadventure across the border. "We could... always get a start without them. We don't need to drag this out. Not after how the last one went," He uttered the last statement with a bit of a laugh to his voice, as though attempted murders and actual murders were everyday occurrences. He didn't hold much sympathy for Death Rattle's death, and so he had not brooded over it for a second.

Axolotlsprout entered in all her glory, her green eyes glancing over the cats. Her green sweater was dirtied with the blood of last gathering, spreading dark stains across it. She glanced up at Risingstar, and back down again. She was rather surprised he had invited her, as of her scene at the last gathering. She was EarthClan¬?s medicine cat, after all. No apprentice, and nothing to stop her. She made her way into the crowd of cats, and sat with a scowl on her face. What kind of excuses would Risingstar make for this gathering?

This was a bad idea. Risingstar realized, his claws digging into the dead bark of Hawk's Tree as his crimson form swayed once more. Why in the ancestors' names do we have to do this stupid thing sitting in a tree? He was a pride cat, born and raised, and the moorland still ran through his veins. He as not comfortable in the forest, climbing trees and rushing through underbrush. He was out of his element, and it was the last place he wanted to be when settled on the very edge of consciousness. It doesn't look good in front of the other clans.

At least Glasswind couldn't ridicule him about it, afterall the deputy didn't look much better. At least he's on solid ground.

A short glimpse up to the branch above him was enough for Glasswind to catch sight of Risingstar's slight swaying. Glass himself was fighting the urge to sink to the earth and pass out after the long and arduous journey, so he supposed he couldn't scold the leader too much for his precarious appearance before the other clans. Neverthless, Glasswind shot Risingstar a stern but vaguely empathetic glance seeming to say something along the lines of 'hold it together.'

"Of course,"the curt answer was all that came from Hollowstar. She didn't turn to see the cold stare she was getting from the Moonclan leader but could feel it burning into her fur. She turned as Risingstar suggested getting the gathering started but did not reply, she wasn't concerned about starting the gathering or the whereabouts of Sunclan's representatives.

Shadedmoss walked into viewing of the large crowd of cats. Even after her previous visits, the site of it all still overwhelmed her. She knew Anatstar was close by, but she had specifically told her to go on. Shadedmoss knew that she couldn't be far behind. Perhaps she had needed a quick word with a senior warrior. Regardless, at her first Gathering as deputy, she led the Clan in. Her head was held high and every step calculated. She almost began to make her way over to the other warriors, but she knew that she belonged elsewhere. She noted exactly where the other deputies were gathered and headed over, dipping her head in greeting to the deputies but not directly acknowledging any of them. She knew they'd have questions to ask of her. She didn't need to actively seek them out.

Anatstar padded in right after her Sunclan group, her tail swaying behind her as she made sure that everyone accounted for made it and settled in without any problems before she weaved her way through and right up to the tree Her tail brushed along Shadedmoss' flank gratefully. The marble leader had to stop herself from hesitating as she leaped up and took her spot, dipping her head to the other leaders. "Hello everyone, sorry for the wait." She shrugged light-heartedly. "Let's get started then, shall we?"

Padding in alongside her clanmates, Daisybelle gently padded through the crowd, her green eyes set on one spot - though she never really liked to, she had found an open seat right in the front, right where she could see her daughter the best. The older she-cat sat down with a big smile on her face as she saw her daughter among the ranks of the leaders, her green gaze warm and filled with emotions. Though she couldn't see her, she knew that her mother was sitting right there next to her. Pride shot through her veins as she watched her marbled daughter above her, and as any mother would do, whenever she made eye contact with her, she murmured, "You've got his sweetheart." A gentle reminder to herself as well as the young leader that she was there for her, and that no matter what happened she would be alright.

Hollowstar turned her freezing stare on Anatstar, her banded tail twitching in annoyance at no cat in particular. She dug her class deeper into the white tree, willing this to be over with but not wanting to be the first to speak.

/\/\/\

Deathpaw slunk into the gathering clearing at the back of the Sunclan patrol, her eerie blue eyes searching the faces of nearby cats before flicking up to the leaders. She scented the air, trying to get used to the large amounts of jumbled cats.

Tigerstar nodded in agreement for the gathering to begin, the tension was at her throat and she didn¬?t like it. Her eyes landed on her daughter, Servalbelly, with her torn off ear. She could¬?ve learned her lesson an easy way but chose not to, and that¬?s what bothered the leader. She would have to be punished for her actions, possibly put on apprentice duties. Whatever it was she¬?s figure out by the time she returned to camp. She waited for the leaders to start, she would be speaking third, ready to turn and speak on her camp. She held her head high with a confident aura, nothing would bring the older leader down.

Lostsea sat alone, her grey pelt shimmering under the moonlight. Her tail moved and curled over her paws as she shut her eyes. Her ears did all the work at gatherings, and everywhere else, too. She let out a soft breath as she waited for the Gathering to start, and for the commotion to occur. Her milky blue eyes open, and her head turned so she could get the full feel of nerves at tonight¬?s crowd.

Stormdream looked around her at all the different cats, although she wasn't thinking about them, stuck in her own head as usual. Would this gathering be as crazy as previous ones? Would any of these cats make a scene? As SunClan came in, her attention shot to who was leading them in. She didn't recognize them, and when they sat down by the roots, her mind whirled. Had Sandstar died? She sat down next to one of her Clanmates, her mind still on her thoughts.

Lostsea turned her ears toward Stormdream, and waved her tail slowly. ¬?Worried at all, Stormdream?¬? She asked, and then moved her whole head toward her. It would be better if she could see her lips move. ¬?The last gathering sure seemed....ugly.¬? The blind cat mewed. ¬?But yet, I was only an apprentice then. My views might¬?ve been too broad.¬?

Stormdream blinked, realizing that the cat was talking to her. "Oh, I don't know," she murmured, "All I can see is that Sandstar is gone and I'm just wondering what happened..." She looked up at their new leader, mewing, "That's that cat Anat I think...Is she their new leader?" She shifted in her place, feeling a bit restless for the leaders to begin speaking to them.

¬?Well, I suppose she would be. She was their deputy, and I see no reason for her not to move on up.¬? Lostsea, despite being blind, had a good grasp on a cat¬?s personality. It was hard to recognize the voice in which they speak, as well as the way they hold themselves. Most cats with sight could do it too, but that was their flaw. Lostsea always thought cats with sight were too focused on what one another looked like. She supposed that¬?s why she never had luck with friends.
